The movie SNITCH has the trailer out! See our home page for the video. Looks like a great movie and we are thrilled to be on the soundtrack with two songs! Be sure to check it out!

This past weekend we got to hang out with our friends who drove in from Oklahoma! They have been around since the beginning of the band, starting out as fans and over the last couple years they have become good friends. We had a campfire over the weekend, a Homegrown Hoedown of sorts! Great to see ya Bear, Tammy and Slade!

And on an ending note - I hope all is well for everyone out there. These economic hard times have an effect on us all! Gas prices going up, people still being laid off. Jobs not easy to come by and housing values still down. I hope that through our music we offer ya'll some relief from it all! Drop us aline too, we love from ya!!!

If just for a moment get lost in music!
Peace, Marty

<![CDATA[MERRY CHRISTMAS, HAPPLY HOLIDAYS and HERE's to The New Year!]]>Fri, 23 Dec 2011 11:28:30 -0500http://preacherstone.com/1/post/2011/12/merry-christmas-happly-holidays-and-heres-to-the-new-year.htmlHey Ya’ll,

We hope this post finds you all well and enjoying friends and
family during this wonderful Christmas Season. As always, we are so grateful for
the love and friendship that you have shown us over the past year.
Looking back on 2011, all I can say is, “What a year!”
It started with the 2011 Simple Man Cruise and ended with the 2011 Rock
Legends Cruise. In between those
monumental events we managed to have our music included in the movie “Witness
Insecurity” and the TV series“What Lies Beyond.” We’ve been up and down the highway,
through the air, and on the high seas sharing the stage with a great many
awesome bands such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet, Blackfoot, the Marshall
Tucker Band, the Outlaws, ZZ Top, Foghat, Dickie Betts, Bucky Covington, 38
Special, Steppenwolf, George Thorogood and the Destroyers, Swampdawamp, Hogjaw,
Blackberry Smoke, and DB Bryant.

2012 will see us more determined than ever to bring good music to
good people! God bless you and yours throughout the Holidays and into the coming year!

All the Best!
Ronnie and Marty

I hope this finds you and your family well. The holidays are on the way and
the excitement is building in Stoneville!
We are gearing up for the 2011 Rock Legends Cruise and a new year of
spreadin’ the gospel of Preacher Stone!
We are proud to have two songs in the movie “Witness Insecurity” and a video
for “Hand on the Bible” that is viewed over a thousand times a day!
We’ve welcomed brother Mark Hill into the band and in the words of
Briscoe Darlin, “It is a powerful thang!”
We’re sportin’ a looksome new t-shirt designed by brother Johnny Webb
that makes a fine Christmas gift.
You ought to grab you a few.
We will see you in your town!

God Bless,

Ronnie

<![CDATA[Working on the 3rd CD!]]>Mon, 26 Sep 2011 13:01:26 -0500http://preacherstone.com/1/post/2011/09/working-on-the-3rd-cd.htmlHey Ya’ll!

We have been workin’ hard on our third CD. It’s really gonna kick ass!It will be another heapin’ helpin’ of southern fried goodness chocked full of grit and drippin’ with swagger. We also regret to inform you that Brent “Wildman” Enman has left the band to pursue other musical endeavors. We wish him all the best. We’d also like to welcome brother Mark Hill to band. Mark, who was the original drummer for Preacher Stone, is a very talented musician and a fine feller! We can't wait to be in your town! Let us hear from you!!!

Rawk On!

In spite of the fact that the music industry thinks that an audience for blues-based, By God Southern Rock does not exist, we continue to roll along gaining friends (note that I did not use the word "fans") and selling CD's worldwide. The people in the ivory tower are afraid to take their eyes off Justin Beiber, Lady Gaga, and the like long enough to see that people still love that classic rock sound. In America, people vote with their money, and we'd like to thank you for layin' down your hard-earned cash to support Preacher Stone!!! Thanks also for all your kind words of support and encouragement... Keep those emails a-comin'!!! They mean a lot to the boys and me. Keep supportin' Indie Artists!!!

Love Ya'll; mean it,
Ronnie

We just got back from the 2011 Simple Man Cruise with Lynyrd Skynyrd, 38 Special, Blackberry Smoke, and Black Stone Cherry. We had a blast! It was a very wonderful and humbling experience. It was wonderful that we got to share the stages with our heroes and meet so many new friends face to face.

We were humbled by the kindness and enthusiasm shown to us by the southern rock community on board. We are more grateful to ya’ll than you can imagine. As great as 2010 was for us, 2011 looks even brighter. We hope to see you in your town, soon!
